Some of us are alone during this time. Myself, I enjoy being alone, but I know many of you are more social butterflies and it must be driving you crazy being stuck at home. Some have children that are going to be bored and given that fact that many of you are not used to being home with them 24 hours a day, you may be looking for something to do. Something to ease the tension. Well here is a list of some simple ideas. Perhaps if you incorporate one or two a day into your routine, you'll find yourself enjoying your time at home and not stressing about it. How many times have we said...ugghh...If only I didn't have to go to work? Well, let's not fret! Let's take this much needed time to relax and enjoy what is really important.
CLUTTER is a great source of stress and for me, I know I cannot focus or get anything done surrounded by clutter, so here are some tips in case you want to tackle that for a day!
Looking for something to do with the kids?
1.How about an indoor scavenger hunt? Make a list of clues or riddles and have them find everyday items throughout the house. The one that finds the most items in the allotted time can win a special treat or prize.
3. Try something new! Now is the time to take care of YOU! Try Yoga, or add a new routine to your daily workout. Try a new healthy recipe. Cook together as a family!
4. ORGANIZE YOUR DATA BASE
MAKE A TO DO LIST EVERYDAY! CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO GET MORE DONE!
5. CALL AN OLD FRIEND! It is the simple things that we never get time to do in our everyday lives that really mean the most to our friends and family. Now is the time, to take reconnect and re-evaluate our priorities.
6. Now that you now what you can live without. Make a new budget and challenge yourself to save " X" amount of dollars per month. Put that money aside for an emergency fund.
7. Or ADOPT YOUR BEST FRIEND!
Most of all. Stay Healthy. Take Care of your neighbors. Don't forget, we're all in this together!
